Geboren 1969 in Lausanne, Schweiz, war Carlos Leal bekannt als Gründer und Frontmann der Hip-Hop-Gruppe «Sens Unik». 2005 gelang ihm der Durchbruch als Schauspieler mit dem Kinofilm SNOW WHITE von Samir. Er gewann 2006 den Schweizer Filmpreis und wurde im gleichen Jahr als Shootingstar zur Berlinale eingeladen. Carlos Leal spielte in vielen internationalen Kinofilmen mit, darunter JAMES BOND - CASINO ROYALE. Er übernahm tragende Ensemble-Rollen in Serien in der Schweiz (DER BESTATTER), Europa (THE TEAM) und in den USA (THE L WORD).
