Born in 1960 in Stans, Switzerland. 1980-86 Studies History, Philosophy and German Literature at University of Basel. 1987-88 Assistant at the the Archive for Contemporary History, ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) Zurich. Journalist for Swiss-German Broadcasting Service. Since 1996 independent filmmaker and producer of documentary films. 2001-05 Comittee member of “Zürich für den Film”. 2004 Founding of LUMENFILM. 2004-11 Comittee member of "Filmregie und Drehbuch Schweiz". 2015 Founding of LUMENFILM GmbH.
