Because Thomas cannot cope with his past, he has sought treatment. To increase his chances of success, Thomas agrees to an alternative treatment: he is allowed to go home one weekend after following safety protocols. He has to face his mother. He has to have an interview with his ex-partner. And he must not forget his medication.
