Born in 1976 in Bern, Switzerland. Stefan Brunner studied directing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Film Academy). His graduation film BLACKSTORY (2012) was nominated for the Max Ophüls Prize and won several international awards. He is the creator and writer of the Disney+ series VIENNA GAME and Netflix series FREUD, as well as the Zurich crime series TATORT “Grandjean/Ott”.
