Three Swiss films at film festival in Toronto

At the 32nd Toronto International Film Festival (September 6 – 16, 2007) three Swiss films will be presented. The Italian-Swiss co-production “Giorni e nuvole” by Silvio Soldini (Amka Film Productions, Savosa) will be shown in the “Contemporary World Cinema” section. “Max & Co”, the long animated film by brothers Samuel and Frédéric Guillaume (Max-le-Film, Lausanne) will be screened in the “Sprockets Family Zone” program, while the short documentary film “Erzählung” by Hannes Schüpbach, which is dedicated to sculptor Cesare Ferronato, will be presented in the “Wavelength” section for avant-garde work.
The festival in Toronto, which is among the most important film festivals on the North American continent, attracts buyers and distributors from around the world and regularly draws audiences of over 340,000. This year, 350 films of all genres and from 55 countries will be shown at the event.
