THE EXPOSURE by Thomas Imbach is celebrating its world premiere at the Filmfest München. The Swiss actress dazzles in the film based on Arthur Schnitzler’s “Fräulein Else”. High time for a quick chat.

You are starring in the lead role in “THE EXPOSURE”, which is premiering in Munich. Do you have a favourite scene?
I’ll definitely remember the longer “Dorsday” scene. The nuances and the intensity towards the end are challenging. And when you have such a great co-star as Milan Peschel at your side, the challenge is a real treat as an actress.
What was it like working with Thomas Imbach?
We worked very closely together, and I felt that my imagination and intuition were allowed to flourish. I was free to explore and offer a wide range of things.
How has the huge success of the series “DIE ZWEIFLERS” impacted your career?
There has been more attention, that’s certainly true :) The series received international acclaim and has garnered numerous awards.
Are you working on any new productions?
This year, I will be performing the role of Buhlschaft in “Jedermann” once again at the Salzburg Festival. At the same time, I’m filming a Swiss series called BLIND. I’ve got a double role in it, which is a lot of fun.
Let’s take a step back to your beginnings. What motivated you to study drama in Berlin?
I wanted to learn the craft. Acting had been an important part of my life since I was young, and I wanted to pursue this passion.
What character trait helps you in the acting shark tank?
Having a thick skin.
Do you have a word that serves as a tongue twister for a warm-up exercise?
Any words that are long and not often used in everyday life. I don’t have a specific warm-up exercise. But it’s crucial that the body is invigorated, so I jump on the spot. It’s not rocket science.
Is there any costume in the past that has challenged you the most while filming?
Generally, I always welcome resistance when acting. It adds a certain spontaneity and vibrancy.
How do you decide whether to accept or reject a project? Are there key scenes in the script that you look for?
When a script moves me and the creative wheels start turning, it’s a very good sign.
With whom would you really like to perform?
Robert De Niro!
