Swiss directors at Women’s Film Festival in Créteil, France

The 26th International Women’s Film Festival, “Films de Femmes”, which is taking place in the town Créteil near Paris from March 12 – 21, 2004, is showing four films by Swiss women directors. The short film “Green Oaks” by Ruxandra Zenide about an adoption in Rumania – previously nominated for the 2004 Swiss Film Prize – will be participating in the international short film competition.
The documentary films “Pas les flics, pas les noirs, pas les blancs“ by Ursula Meier and “Yugodivas“ by Andrea Staka will be shown as part of the “Asil/Exil“ series, in which 40 films of various origins illuminate the fate of emigrees. The short documentary film “Regards sur le voile“ by Vanessa Langer – showing the variety of female veiles in Yemen – will be screened as part of the “Histoires de voir“ series.
