Strong Swiss presence at the Berlinale
Swiss films and coproductions are on the programme of all main sections at the 61st International Berlin Film Festival (February 10-20, 2011).

The Berlinale Shorts competition will feature the experimental short film "Stick Climbing" by Daniel Zimmermann and the film entitled "Switez" by Poland's Camil Polak, coproduced by the Ticino company Archangel Film Group. The documentary film "Mit dem Bauch durch die Wand" by Anka Schmid, premiered at the Solothurner Filmtage, can be seen in the Generation 14plus section, whilst the cartoon "Der grosse Bruder" by Jésus Pérez and Elisabeth Hüttermann will be running in the Generation Kplus programme. The long documentary film "Kampf der Königinnen" by Nicolas Steiner, developed during his training at the Ludwigsburg film academy, will feature in the "German Cinema Perspectives" category. As part of the culinary cinema accompanying programme, the Berlinale will be showing the documentary film "Unser Garten Eden" by Mano Khalil which has been nominated for the "Quartz 2011" as well as the coproduction "Le quattro volte" by Michaelangelo Frammartino.
Further Swiss films will be shown at the European Film Market, the film exhibition being held parallel to the Berlinale in the "Martin-Gropius-Bau". The promotional agency SWISS FILMS will again be participating with its own information stand.
