Strong Swiss presence at Filmfest München
The 29th Filmfest München will screen five Swiss feature films in the international programme and six productions from Switzerland in further festival sections (June 24 – July 2, 2011).

Lionel Baier's "Toulouse" will celebrate its international premiere in Munich. Baier is also presenting a second film, "Low Cost (Claude Jutra)," which was screened at the Festival in Locarno in 2010. Also screened in the international programme will be "Sennentuntschi" by Michael Steiner and "All That Remains" by Pierre-Adrian Irlé and Valentin Rotelli. The Italian-Swiss feature film "Corpo Celeste" by Alice Rohrwacher (coproduction: Amka Film, Savosa), which was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section in Cannes, rounds off the strong Swiss presence in the international programme.
A further highlight of the festival programme in Munich is "Film Socialisme" by Jean-Luc Godard. Screened in the children's programme will be Kinder the six-minute animation film "Der grosse Bruder" by Jesús Pérez and Elisabeth Hüttermann, among others, as well as the six-minute fiction film "Ronaldo" by Jan Mettler and Jan-Eric Mack.
Three other films from Switzerland are included in the festival programme: the German-Swiss world premiere of "Hell" by Tim Fehlbaum; "Johnny Suede" (1991) by Tom DiCillo (coproduction Vega Film, Zurich); the feature film "Porfirio" by Columbian director Alejandro Landes, coproduced by Swiss producer Maja Zimmermann.
One year ago Jean-Stéphane Bron returned from the Filmfest München with an Honourable Mention for "Cleveland Versus Wall Street."
