Short films tour Switzerland with OrangeCinema
17.07.2008
OrangeCinema will be hosting a second edition of the “Short Film Night” this year. SWISS FILMS and the International Short Film Festival Winterthur have put together an evening programme of award-winning short films from Switzerland and abroad.
This year’s edition of the “Short Film Night” features a 90-minute programme comprised of current short films. A total of 10 extraordinary productions can be discovered by the open-air viewers, including the award winners of the International Short Film Festival Winterthur and festival hits from Switzerland. In addition, the programme screens such shorts as the Swedish animation film “Never Like the First Time“ and the Belgian Oscar nomination “Tanghi argentini”, together with newer Swiss short films, for example, “What’s Next” or the fanciful “Lauberhornrennen im Sommer”. The OrangeCinema programme will be slightly adapted for the screening in Geneva.
SWISS FILMS is pleased that the short film is on its way to becoming a fixture of the popular open-air cinemas in summer with these events.
