Short Film Night on tour in ten Swiss cities
The 9th Short Film Night Tour will tour French- and Italian-speaking Switzerland from October 14 to November 25, 2011.

The long night of short films opens with a selection of films nominated for the Swiss Film Prize "Quartz 2011." Presented with six further short film productions are the films "Yuri Lennon's Landing on Alpha 46" and "Miramare," award-winners in the categories for Best Short Film and Best Animation Film. The international programme - Chabada ... le chat dans tous ses états «animés - is an homage to the cat, the mascot of the Short Film Night. Nicolas Steiner's multi-award-winning "Ich bin's Helmut" will be screened in the Absurdum Delirium programme, together with four other short film productions, including the successful Canadian short film "Next Floor," which won an award in the Critics' Week section in Cannes 2010.
The Short Film Night concludes with two medium-length Argentine film productions screened in the Destination Argentine, vu depuis la France programme. One of the films is the comedy "¿Dónde está Kim Basinger?" by Edouard Deluc, nominated for the César 2010.
