Among the nine productions screened in the German-language feature film competition are Cihan Inan’s debut film “180°” (producer: C-Films, Zurich), Mike Schaerer’s “Stationspiraten” (Zodiac Pictures, Lucerne), and Barbara Kulcsar’s “Zu zweit” (Plan B Film, Zurich). The romance comedy “Bon Appetit” by Spanish director David Pinillos (coproduction: Zodiac Pictures, Lucerne) will be screened in the international feature film competition, while Fabian Kimoto’s “The Rising Sun”, a break-dance road movie from the Lake Constance Region, is the Swiss entry in the international documentary film competition. The festival opens with Michael Steiner’s much anticipated mystery thriller “Sennentuntschi” (Kontraproduktion, Zurich).
In addition, Curt Truninger's comedy "The Rendez-Vous", shot in Canada, will celebrate its premiere in a special screening at the festival in Zurich.
