“Jeu/Play” receives 10th award in Sapporo (Japan)

The Swiss short animated film "Jeu/Play" by Georges Schwizgebel was given the award for "Best Animation" at the Sapporo International Short Film Festival and Market. The newly founded Sapporo film festival (September 13 - 17, 2007) took place for the second time in the Japanese city.
This is the 10th award for "Jeu/Play" since it won a prize at the Locarno International Film Festival in 2006. At Sapporo, the short film took part in the "International Programs" competition, with 70 films shown in 9 programs.
A total of 24 prizes were awarded at this year's festival, which also included a short film market.
