Hollywood’s “Moondance” with Swiss participation

At the Moondance International Film Festival, taking place in Hollywood from September 7-9. 2007, one long and two short films from Switzerland will be presented. With his film “Wrong Number”, Lewis Häusler is among the finalists in the feature film competition. Häusler resides in the western part of Switzerland, grew up in England, and was trained at the Prague Film School. Hicham Alhayat’s film “Il neige à Marrakech” will participate in the short film competition. As part of a retrospective for winners from previous years, the festival will show Georges Schwizgebel’s animated film “L'homme sans ombre”.
The three-day festival in Hollywood, which likes to present itself as “American Cannes”, shows productions in 29 categories including feature, documentary, and animated films of various lengths, along with scripts and radio plays.
