An astonishing record of Hopi history, thought and culture that can bring us to a completely different point of view. Told entirely from the perspective of the Hopi people, the film is a unique collaboration of a 74-year old Hopi, a young female filmmaker and a Swiss artist. The film uses interviews, paintings and exceptional archival footage to show the systematic destruction of Hopi culture by the United States government and documents with eye witnesses the resistance against these interferences and the ongoing fight of the traditional Hopi for their independence.
