Alice, a young mother, sacrifices her dreams to care for her autistic son, Peter. On his first day of primary school, Alice feels overwhelmed and inferior to other mothers, leading her to hide Peter's disability. She rejects the headmistress's offer of an educational worker. In her darkest moment, Peter gives Alice his red pinwheel and says "blow." Entering his simple world, Alice realises Peter just wants to be himself despite his challenges.
Alice, una giovane madre, sacrifica i suoi sogni per prendersi cura del figlio autistico, Peter. Il primo giorno di scuola elementare, Alice si sente sopraffatta e inferiore alle altre madri, arrivando a nascondere la disabilità di Peter. Rifiuta l’offerta della direttrice di una assistente educativa. Nel suo momento più buio, Peter le dà la sua girandola rossa e le dice "soffia". Entrando nel suo mondo semplice, Alice capisce che Peter vuole solo essere sé stesso nonostante le sue difficoltà.
