At the age of 14, Diane is an enigmatic, solitary adolescent. She takes care of her younger brother, Marc, and has an exclusive relationship with her father, Christian. The appearance in the neighbourhood of Julia, a young, charismatic, emancipated English girl, will turn Diane’s life upside down. Diane, who wants at all costs to grow up, spends a semester of the most disquieting experiences of her life. The closer she gets to Julia, the more she ignores her morals – recognizing neither the consequences of, nor limits to, her desires.
