Born in 1985, he is a filmmaker and cultural organiser. He studied media studies and German philology at the University of Basel. Since 2016 managing director of the co-operative production company point de vue in Basel. With a focus on production and editing, he works mainly in documentary film. However, he is also interested in the spatial realisation of AV content in installation or scenic contexts. In addition to his work in film, Andreas is also involved in the Basel cultural scene. He was responsible for the programme of the Basel Festival of Science ‘science+fiction’ from 2015-2020.

Geboren 1985. Er ist Filmemacher und Kulturveranstalter. Er studierte Medienwissenschaft und Germanistik an der Universität Basel. Seit 2016 ist er Geschäftsleiter der genossenschaftlichen Produktionsfirma point de vue in Basel. Mit Schwerpunkt auf Produktion und Editing ist er hauptsächlich im dokumentarischen Film tätig. Er interessiert sich aber auch für eine räumliche Umsetzung von AV-Inhalten in installativen oder szenischen Kontexten. Nebst seiner Tätigkeit im Film engagiert sich Andreas auch in der Basler Kulturszene. Er war Programmverantwortlicher für das Basler Festival der Wissenschaften «science+fiction» von 2015-2020.
