Zoé Rossion

Director, Editor, Screenwriter, Producer

Zoé Rossion is a Belgian-Swiss filmmaker who graduated from HEAD – Geneva University of Art and Design. She directed ROGER, UNKOWN GRANDFATHER (2015), Special Jury Mention at Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg, nominated for the Golden Key Award at Kasseler Dokfest, Best Documentary Award at the Izmir Contact Film Festival. Her short CELL 364 (2020) was selected in over 90 festivals, including Rhode Island, Hong Kong, Leeds, and Rio de Janeiro International Film Festivals). She also directed two 52-minute audio documentaries: LE LEGGENDE TICINESI (broadcast on RSI) and DE L'AUTRE CÔTÉ DU MUR (broadcast on RTBF). Her work explores storytelling as a form of resistance. In parallel with her filmmaking, she works as a production assistant at Alva Film, a distributor at the Oscar-winning company Salaud Morisset and as a programmer for the Kurzfilmtage Winterthur festival.
