Born in 1999 in Genolier (Switzerland). Maxime Perrin is a French-Swiss writer- and director. He began making short films in 2015 and enrolled at SAE Institute Geneva in film studies in 2018. In 2020 he co-founded the artistic collective LES FILMS DU LABO, and in 2021 obtained a Bachelor of Arts following the production of his first feature film L'ESCALE, based on research into cinematic spontaneity. As part of the collective, he helps to programme emerging Swiss films by creating and organising LES SÉANCES ALTERNATIVES. Since 2024, he has also worked for the distribution company OUTSIDE THE BOX. His second self-produced feature, EN PLEINE CAPTURE, was one of the Rencontres 7e Art Lausanne 2024 favourites.
