Born in 1983 in Drummondville (Canada), Jonathan Lemieux first became interested in theatre, appearing in over thirty plays and musicals between the ages of 8 and 20. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Letters (communications) and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (interdisciplinary arts) from Concordia University (Montreal), and worked for 15 years for Quebec television as a director and researcher. After obtaining his Master of Arts (History and Aesthetics of Cinema) from the University of Lausanne, he became a producer in Switzerland. His short films have been screened at a number of festivals, including Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma, where he won the prize for best short documentary (2019). He has also published a cookbook.
