Emil Atageldiev
Director
1976-2024 He was a musician, pianist, Honoured Artist and Honoured Cultural Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic. Winner of international competitions in France, Italy and Israel. He studied at the Gnessin Academy of Music, the École Normale de Musique and the VGIK (Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography). He worked as a lecturer, director and screenwriter. THE LAKE (2020), was nominated for the Asian New Talent Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
