Coline Confort

Born in 1998 in Grenoble, France and based in Lausanne, Switzerland, Coline Confort graduated with a Bachelor's degree in cinema from the École Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne (ECAL) in 2020. Their short film, IMPÉRIALE, has been selected for numerous international festivals, won Best Diploma Film at the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and was nominated for the Swiss Film Prize in 2021. LA VIE ACROBATE, their first feature-length documentary, was released in Swiss cinemas in 2023. Coline took part in the Locarno Filmmaker Academy as well as the Locarno Residency and Torino FilmLab 2023, where they recently received two awards for the screenplay of the feature film JOSIE S'EN VA-T-EN GUERRE, in development with Bande à part Films.
