Growing up in Bern, Nashville, and Berkeley, Basil found his passion for filmmaking through still photography within the fashion industry. He is a director and cinematographer. 2020 Master's degree in film and television production from the SCA (School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California) in Los Angeles. Co-founder of the production company Heimat Films. Director and cinematographer in Los Angeles.
