The short fiction film "Ultima Donna" produced by Tristan Aymon at the ECAL film school in Lausanne was honoured with the Grand Prize in the Short Film competition at the 29th “Itinérances” Film Festival in Alès in Southern France (March 25 - April 3). The 25-year-old film director attended the award ceremony to personally accept the Grand Prize, endowed with EUR 2,000.
The five-member jury held "the delicacy of feeling in the film" in high regard and, given the director's young age, was impressed by the choice of subject. The 17-minute film depicts an elderly man - played by well-known actor Maurice Aufair - who is forced to spend time with a young nurse. "Ultima Donna" also received an Honourable Mention from the Student Jury.
