14.10.2008
The 44th Chicago International Film Festival (October 16-29, 2008) is presenting two Swiss fiction films in the competition: “The Noise In My Head” by Vincent Pluss (production: Intermezzo Films, Geneva); and “Der Freund” by Micha Lewinsky (production: Langfilm, Freienstein).
The two Swiss fiction films will be screened in the “New Directors” competition, which features debut and second films only. They are in the running for the “Gold Hugo” award. The directors will attend the festival to present their films personally.
The festival in Chicago is one of the oldest Festivals in North America and, together with the competition, is comprised of numerous film sections and panel discussions.
