Two Swiss documentary films in Mumbai

Two Swiss film productions will participate in the competition at the 10th International Film Festival in Mumbai (Bombay), which runs from February 3 – 9, 2008 in the metropolis on the west coast of India. Tula Roy’s “Seiltänzer” will be screened in the “Documentary Film” category, and Felice Zenoni’s 56-minute film for television, “Yehudi Menuhin - Lord of the Strings” (production: Mesch & Ugge, Zurich) will be presented in the “Video up to 60 Minutes” section.
The Mumbai International Film Festival for Documentary, Short and Animation Films, which is held every two years, provides an overview of the wealth of documentary and animation film productions from the Indian subcontinent. Depending on the genre and format, prizes amounting up to 55,000 dollars are awarded in the various categories, with 28 foreign pitted against 16 Indian productions in the international competition.
