Two prizes for Swiss film “Aux frontières de la nuit”

The film “Aux frontières de la nuit” by Nasser Bakhti won two additional prizes at international festivals: At the Harlem International Film Festival in New York (October 13 – 28, 2007), it took home the Brownstone Award, which was bestowed for the third time this year. And at the 5th edition of the AMAL – Festival Internacional de Cine Euro Arabe in Santiago de Compostela, Spain (October 22 – 31, 2007), the film was honored with the “Best Director Award”, with a prize sum of 3,000 Euro.
In Spain earlier this year, “Aux frontières de la nuit” won the audience award at the Festival Cinema del Mediterrani in Valencia on October 24, which came with a prize sum of 18,000 Euro (see October 29 press release).
