Swiss short film wins Grand Priz in Montreal

At the 29th Festival des Films du Monde, which ended on Monday, September 5, the film “Terra incognita” by Peter Volkart (Reck Film Production, Zurich) was awarded the Grand Prize for Best Short Film. Peter Volkart, 48-year-old Zurich artist and filmmaker, was in attendance at the festival.
“Terra incognita” tells the story of a physician’s expedition into a secret, undiscovered universe in the 1920’s, where gravity begins to sway. In his 15-minute-long movie, Peter Volkart creates an imaginary world authentic in its detailed décor and precision lighting.
