Swiss Participation at the Festival dei Popoli in Florence, Italy

At Italy’s most important documentary film event, the Festival dei Popoli in Florence, Switzerland is represented with three films this year: “Skinhead Attitude” by Daniel Schweizer will be shown in the “fuori concorso” section, while “B comme Béjart” by Marcel Schüpbach and “Behind me” by Norbert Wiedmer will be screened in the “Filmare il teatro” section.
The Festival dei Popoli which takes place for the 44th time from November 28 to December 4, 2003, attempts to direct the attention of the Italian audience toward a limited number of artistically outstanding documentary films. Together with the Italian and international film competition (with only 14 entries competing), the portrayal of art, music, and theatre plays a pivotal role in three additional festival sections.
