Swiss animation film wins “Goldene Einhorn“

The 4-minute animation film “What’s Next?” by Claudia Röthlin and Adrian Flückiger was honoured with the “Goldenes Einhorn” for Best Animation Film at the 23rd Alpinale Film Festival in Nenzing, Austria (August 5-10, 2008). Forty films from nine countries competed for a “Goldenes Einhorn” in six categories.
The jury summarized its decision for selecting the film, which was completed at the Lucerne School of Art & Design, as follows: The film “What’s Next” transfers the hostage drama to a nursery. An imaginative, intelligent animation film with an elaborate dramaturgy and captivating humour.”
