Shooting Star Michael Koch’s career continues to rise

Two months after his glamorous appearance at the 2004 Berlinale, Swiss Shooting Star Michael Koch has reached his first important goal of being represented by “Divina,” a young and highly engaged acting agency. “Divina” is active in Germany (Berlin) and Austria (Vienna) and represents, among others, Stephanie Japp and Michael Neuenschwander (Switzerland), Maria Hofstaetter and Georg Friedrich (Austria), and well-known German actor Joachim Bissmeier.
In addition to being a significant and public highlight at the Berlinale Palace, the Shooting Star awards on February 8, 2004, were also a great opportunity for networking. At this forum for new European talents, Marketa Modra (Divina), who accompanied the Austrian Shooting Star Georg Friedrich, became aware of newcomer Michael Koch: “I noticed Koch in Berlin as I always notice charismatic individuals.” With “Divina”, Koch will certainly be in good hands and able to land roles outside Switzerland.
Michael Koch, lead actor in “Ready, Steady, Charlie!”— one of the most successful movie in years (third place on the 2003 top-ten list with 540,000 tickets sold) — is currently working on several projects in progress.
