Sara Capretti wins acting award in Pjöngjang

At the 10th Pjöngjang International Film Festival, which ended with the award ceremony on September 30th, Swiss actress Sara Capretti won the prize for Best Actress for her role in “Sternenberg.” The director of the film, Christoph Schaub, was present at the film’s four screenings in the North Korean capital, which attracted a total of 3,500 viewers.
According to Christoph Schaub, who returned to Switzerland via Bejing, “Sternenberg”, an entertaining comedy with social and media critical undertones, found particularly positive favor with the Korean audience. Nearly 80 films from around the world were presented in Pjöngjang, partially with filmmakers in attendance.
