Peter Mettler Retrospective at FIDOCS
A retrospective of Peter Mettler’s works will be shown at the 18th edition of the “FIDOCS – Festival Internacional de Documentales” (June 23–29, 2014), the documentary film festival in Santiago de Chile, in collaboration with SWISS FILMS.

The Swiss-Canadian filmmaker will attend the festival to present five of his films, including his most recent work “The End Of Time,” which celebrated its world premiere in Locarno in 2012 and was nominated for the Swiss Film Award in 2013. Also on the festival programme are his multi-award-winning documentary film “Gambling, Gods And LSD” (2002), as well as “Balifilm” (1997) and “Eastern Avenue” (1985). Peter Mettler will open his retrospective personally with “Picture Of Light” (1994) on June 24, 2014.
In addition, Jean-Stéphane Bron’s short documentary film: “La petite leçon de cinéma: le documentaire” will be screened in the “FIDOCS en la escuela” (FIDOCS in the school) section.
In 2011 FIDOCS showcased a comprehensive Richard Dindo retrospective, in cooperation with SWISS FILMS.
