“One Long Winter Without Fire” wins audience award in Namur

At the 20th Festival international du Film Francophone in Namur, Belgium, which ended on September 30th, Greg Zglinski won the audience award with a prize sum of 4,000 Euro for his feature debut “One Long Winter Without Fire.” Along with its entry into the 2006 Oscars nominations for Best Foreign Film and the European Film Prizes, the film continues its successful festival showings with this award. It has already been presented at numerous festivals and has received several awards.
The film “Delwende” by S.Pierre Yaméogo (Burkina Faso, France, Switzerland), co-produced by Swiss producer Pierre-Alain Meier, was awarded the special jury prize. In the running for Best Documentary Film (Prix TV5), “Exit” received an honorable mention.
