“November” in Ghent, Chicago, and Bejing

“November”, the feature film debut by Luki Frieden (Production: Carac Film, Bern) has been invited to two important international festivals in October, while in November it will be presented at the Beijing Film Academy. In the main acting roles are Charlotte Heinimann, Muriel Rieben, Max Rüdlinger, and Martin Rapold.
At the 31st Flanders International Festival in Ghent (October 5-16, 2004), “November” will be screened in the “World Cinema” section, and will then celebrate its US premiere at the 40th Chicago International Film Festival with the director in attendance (October 7-21, 2004). The film earlier received an honorary mention by the jury at the International Film Festival in Sotschi, Russia (June 2004). For the “Days of German-speaking Film” (November 16-19), it has been invited to Beijing, China, where the film will be subtitled for the Chinese-speaking audience. This event is organized by the Goethe Institute and the Austrian and Swiss embassies.
