«Le génie de la boîte de raviolis» wins prizes in Australia and Geneva

The animated film «Le génie de la boîte de raviolis» (The genie in a ravioli tin) by Claude Barras took home the Golden Spotlight Award for Best Short Film at the 55th Australian International Film Festival (AIFF) in Melbourne (October 21-30, 2006). The film also won the audience award at the 1st Children’s Film Festival in Geneva (10/28 – 11/05).
In addition to the long feature film competition, the AIFF festival features a competition for short films of all genres. Since its premiere at the Solothurn Film Festival in January 06, the animated film by Claude Barras («Banquise») has been shown at numerous international festivals worldwide.
