Haifa: Tribute to Xavier Koller
The 29th Haifa International Film Festival (September 19-28, 2013) has organised, in collaboration with SWISS FILMS, the promotion agency, a special programme called “Tribute to Xavier Koller”.

The 29th Haifa International Film Festival (September 19-28, 2013) has organised, in collaboration with SWISS FILMS, the promotion agency, a special programme called “Tribute to Xavier Koller” comprised of the fiction films: “Der Schwarze Tanner” (1986); “Reise der Hoffnung” (1990); and “Gripsholm” (2000). The festival has also invited the director to be a member of the international jury presiding over the Mediterranean Cinema section.
During the same time period, Koller will present his Oscar winner “Reise der Hoffnung” in the cinematheque in Tel Aviv. It will screen, together with cinematheques in Haifa and in Jerusalem, Koller’s films, including “Eine wen iig, dr Dällebach Kari” (2012) and “Das gefrorene Herz” (1979).
The film festival in Haifa is the most important festival in Israel.
