“Downhill Skiing In Summer” in Norway
13.06.2007
The short film "Lauberhornrennen im Sommer/ Downhill Skiing In Summer" by Daniel Zimmermann has been selected to participate in the international short film competition in Grimstad (The Norwegian Short Film Festival, June 14 - 19, 2007). The 5-minute film, which is also part of an art installation, has moved the traditional Lauberhorn downhill race - the longest downhill skiing competition worldwide - into summer time, and thus takes the viewer on a downhill ride on grass, along an ideal line.
The "Kortfilmfestival Grimstad" is the most important and vital event of the Norwegian short film community, and presents, aside from the international competition, the year's work of Norwegian filmmaking.
