Beginning of film shoot in Italy for Denis Rabaglia

The shooting of Denis Rabaglia’s new comedy “Marcello Marcello” starts on April 30, 2007, in Liguria, will be continued on the island Ventotene and completed after seven weeks in Zurich. The director originally from Canton Valais is therewith filming a novel by Mark David Hatwood (“Marcello’s Date”). The film, produced by C-Films, Zurich, and Zero Fiction, Berlin, will be filmed with Neapolitan actresses and actors in Dante’s language.
Denis Rabaglia won the Swiss film award (Best fiction film) in 2001 with the fiction film “Azzuro”, which took in over 100'000 theatre tickets. With “Marcello Marcello” he will realise his next film for theatres, after filming “Pas de panique” for television.



“Marcello Marcello” tells of the adventures of a fisher’s son, who is confronted with traditions as he falls in love with a woman.
