Award-winning Swiss short film “Auf der Strecke” in the U.S.

Reto Caffi’s Swiss-German short film “Auf der Strecke” (“On the Line”) will be screened in the international competition at the 17th edition of the Aspen Shortsfest, which runs in Aspen, Colorado, from April 2 – 6, 2008. The 30-minute film is among the 53 productions from 24 countries competing for prizes amounting to more than 20,000 dollars.
The short film is thus continuing its promising international career, for it has already been honoured with the Swiss Film Prize 2008 and the Grand Prize in Clermont-Ferrand.
The international short film festival in Aspen is widely recognized as one of the most important events devoted to short films in North America. Caffi’s short film was selected from the 3,500 films submitted for the competition.
