12.04.2010
Patricia Plattner’s film “Bazar” was awarded the Audience Prize for Best Fiction Film at the 33rd “Grenzland-Filmtagen” in the Bavarian city of Selb (April 8-11, 2010). Plattner attended the festival in Germany to accept the award personally.
The film, shot in Geneva, stars Bernadette Lafont who plays a sixty-year-old antique dealer struggling to prevent the closing of her shop in the heart of the city. The situation presents itself as a turning point in her life, for she also meets a young artist with whom she has a love affair – in spite of the tremendous age difference. Film director Patricia Plattner accepted the trophy, a designer statue, personally in Selb.
