An avalanche of Swiss short films in Clermont-Ferrand 2005

Seventy-five Swiss films will be presented in conjunction with the 27th International Short Film Festival and the 20th Short Film Market, which will take place from 28 January to 5 February in Clermont-Ferrand. Georges Schwizgebel’s animated film “L’homme sans ombre”, which is by now well known around the world, will be screened in the international competition, and “Rush” by Claude Luyet and Xavier Robel, which is also a production from Studio GDS, will be screened in the “Lab” competition, which focuses on moving images and new techniques associated with these art forms.
No less than 73 short Swiss films will be presented at this year’s Short Film Market, which serves as a forum for exchange for representatives of the short film genre from all over the world. More than 2,800 professional from the industry will be participating. A unique video server enables the use of 35 monitors for the special screening of short films in digital format. This is extremely important platform for new Swiss short films!
The short film team at SWISS FILMS will be present at the Short Film Market with its own stand, distributing information, short film programs, catalogues and DVDs with Swiss films.
