A Swiss film featured at the “Nuits en Or du Court Métrage”

The Swiss shortfilm “Auf der Strecke” (On The Line) by Reto Caffi (coproduced by the Academy of Media Arts, Cologne, KMH) is one of eight films selected by the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma for the Nuits en Or du Court Métrage, which will be organized between May 27 and June 11, 2008 in 18 French cities as well as in Bruxelles and Geneva.
The 30-minute fiction film, which was honoured with the Quartz of the Swiss Film Prize 2008 for the “Best Short Film”, with the Grand Prix at the International Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival and with the “Honorary Foreign Student Film Award 2008”, is one of eight films being awarded by film academies throughout the world. The Nuits en Or du Court Métrage will present the “world-wide best” short films for the second time in succession.
In Geneva, the event will take place on June 6 in the cinema Titanium – subsequent to a “Masterclass” of the two Swiss sound engineers Gabriel Hafner and François Musy, who awarded the César for the best sounddesign for their contribution to the movie “Quand j´étais chanteur in 2007.
