1st Jury Prize for the short film “Auf der Strecke” in Landshut

The Swiss-German short film “Auf der Strecke” by Reto Caffi was honoured with 1st Jury Prize at the 9th Short Film Festival in Landshut. The festival was held in the Southern German city from March 6. – 9, 2008; the prize amounted to 1,500 euros.
The five-member jury selected the 30-minute film “Auf der Strecke“ as the winner from approximately one hundred German-speaking short films. Presented with both the Grand Prix at the International Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand and the “Quarz” for Best Short Film of the Swiss Film Prize 2008 at the beginning of this year, the film is definitely on the road to success at festivals. In addition, “Auf der Strecke” was honoured in February with the Promotional Prize for Best German-speaking Graduate Film. The prize was awarded by the “Gesellschaft zur Wahrnehmung von Film- und Fernsehrechten (GWFF) München” and the “Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB)” and amounted to 18,000 euros.
