“1 journée” at Tokyo International Film Festival

The 20th Tokyo International Film Festival (October 20 – 28. 2007) will present the feature film “1 journée” by Jacob Berger (Production: Vega Film) in the “World Cinema” section. Actress Noémie Kocher will be in attendance at the film’s screening in Tokyo. The event counts as the largest and most important film festival in Japan.
The film received a director’s award at the Festival des Films du Monde in Montreal in September, and it celebrated its world premiere at the Locarno International Film Festival in August. The film was also invited to participate at the Pusan International Film Festival.
“1 journée” tells the story of a day in the life of four protagonists who live in Geneva. For Serge (Bruno Todeschini), his wife Pietra (Natacha Regnier), their 8-year-old son Vlad (Louis Dussol), and Serge’s lover (Noémie Kocher), this is a normal day yet happens to be unlike any other.
