An experimental documentary that investigates the link between memory and climate change through the transformation of the Bedea-Novaggio ski slope in Switzerland. Using archival news footage and other sources, the film contrasts the snowy landscape of 20 years ago with the current reality of a barren meadow and a motionless cable car. In the center, a young man in his 20s holds a mirror, a symbol of reflection on the past and the present. Eventually, the mirror shatters, leaving a fragment of his reflection as an echo of a now-lost memory.
Un documentario sperimentale che indaga il legame tra memoria e cambiamento climatico attraverso la trasformazione della pista da sci di Bedea-Novaggio, in Svizzera. Utilizzando filmati d’archivio del telegiornale e altre fonti, il film contrappone il paesaggio innevato di 20 anni fa all’attuale realtà di un prato arido e una funivia immobile. Al centro, un giovane ventenne regge uno specchio, simbolo della riflessione sul passato e sul presente. Alla fine, lo specchio si infrange, lasciando un frammento del suo riflesso come eco di un ricordo ormai perduto.
