A woman testifies, accuses, with a passion and tremolos reminiscent of Callas. The woman is Helene Fotiadou, mother of two young girls – one of whom has been found dead. The police are convinced that it is a crime involving drug dealers and a fatal overdose. The mother claims that her daughter had took drugs, and that she was murdered. She even names the murderer. Like one of the Furies of the ancient world, the mother warns that she must take justice into her own hands and herself sets out to investigate.
