A portrait of the Swiss-Japanese artist Teruko Yokoi (1924-2020). After having worked in New York and Paris, she settled in Bern. At the age of ninety-five, the Kunstmuseum Bern showed her retrospective; this old dream realized, she passed away. The film shows her work using a mix of Japanese and western techniques, her determination and the difficulties of being a single, foreign mother and a woman artist.
