The torturer’s hold over his victim does not stop with the physical abuse: his ultimate aim is not to “make the victim talk” but rather to reduce the victim to permanent silence. The film follows the psychotherapy of two people, destroyed by acts of violence, over a period of one year, taking a look at their destruction from an individual perspective and also as a source of aggression.
